How is it Created?
Each pixel is a cell in an excel spreadsheet (500,000 pixels total), and behind the colour in each pixel lies a sumptuous formula linked to cells around it, with elements of randomness that ensure that each version created is unique (even if very similar, like a unique fingerprint). In fact there are more possible combinations than there are particles in the universe (can show my workings, promise).
Printed on sturdy acrylic glass in the UK, with a ready-mounted aluminium backframe, allowing the piece to hover elegantly about 1cm away from the wall. Standard size is 120cm x 60cm (48in x 24in).

If each cell is shrunken down to a pixel, and the spreadsheet is given a healthy base-layer of maths, a sumptuous middle-layer of randomness and an elegant sprinkling of conditional formatting… Then you have yourself something that is no longer the monthly financials, but instead a spreadsheet that has the sole purpose of looking nice - which is the definition of art.
The randomness ensures that each print is unique. Each refresh of the spreadsheet is astronomically unlikely to reoccur, in there are more possible combinations than there are particles in the observable universe (I can show my workings).
